Sarah Miller, President of Axis Marketing & Communications, has over 15 years of strategic experience in marketing and public relations within the Mobile & Digital Entertainment, high-tech and consumer industries. Her expertise and success in leading Axis marketing & PR combined with intense media relations, strategic marketing, new business development, public relations and relationship marketing has helped launch numerous start-up companies. She was also instrumental in launching the CMO Council, a nationwide affinity group of exclusive and influential peer-networking group of authority leaders in technology marketing and launching Mobile Monday, a global, leading mobile entertainment affinity & networking group for executives in Los Angeles, CA of which she is currently Chair. Miller’s expertise and background has successfully helped launch clients in the mobile, digital and emerging technology industry, from start-ups to business-to-business consulting firms. Miller’s accomplishments include corporate programs, integrated marketing programs, nationwide events and extensive national media and analyst relations to secure top media placement for leading brands.
Prior to Starting Axis PR, Miller was a Director for one of the leading independent full-service marketing and public relations firms in the country, Neale-May & Partners and GlobalFluency. Miller managed all corporate pr & marketing including, media & analyst relations, speaking opportunities and promotional programs for leading Silicon Valley Technology companies. Miller was also responsible for significantly boosting Neale-May’s Silicon Valley presence and global awareness through a successful series of technology marketing events and programs such as managing the success of the 2001 Bruised & Battered Brand Survey and the 2002 Brand Recovery Summit.
Over Miller’s PR career, she has been instrumental in the launch of early stage companies and PR for branded companies such as, Billboard, Digital Orchid, Dwango Wireless, eBoomerang, Escape Velocity, FilmTies, FogDog Sports, Fuel Industries, Global Fluency, Hip Digital Media, House of Blues, iSeeTV, M2BTV, MMCast, Mobile Entertainment Forum. Mogol Music, Multicast Media, Musicrypt, NASCAR, Napster/Roxio, PaymentOne, Phoenix Diamondbacks Baseball, Phoenix Coyotes NHL, Polar Frog Digital, Qualcomm BREW Mobile Technology Group, Soapbox Mobile, Tangent Mobile, Twelve Horses, The Orchard, Viva Vision, WhiteBlox and many more.
She also managed companies to include SpotOn, Diamond of California, and Fogdog Sports. She developed and coordinated various cross promotional on-site events for Diamond’s Heart & Healthy Smart Challenge, Fogdog Sports, SF Giant’s Baseball Trivia event and Top 10 Summer Sports Roundup Games with top DMA Sports and weather news cast teams.
Miller has also held positions as Senior Marketing & Communications Director for Omnikron Systems, John Hancock and The New England. She brought her high-energy approach to managing and developing a franchise program and coordinating an IPO for a large food & beverage chain in the Southwest as the firm’s Marketing & PR Director.
Miller also served as International Director of Programs/Trade Relations for a global consulting firm responsible for tracking and forecasting marketing and sales for international clients. Miller managed all aspects of multiple international associations, developed all international and local vendor and member relationships, implemented all strategic media planning and business development for international boards, manage and organized all international trade conferences and was responsible for all corporate identity, branding and product development. Miller served as the liaison between international consulate and clients in the U.S.
Miller has served on many industry and charity boards throughout her career and has been featured on the cover of Today’s Arizona Woman magazine twice as “A Rising Star” and “Arizona’s Women Of the Year In Business”. She is also currently the Chair of Mobile Monday in Los Angeles and graduated from Arizona State University and holds a Bachelor degree in psychology.
